Vallejo US Khaki Spray Primer 400ml 28.009 WWII Infantry Model Base

Getting a clean khaki base on infantry figures, field gear, packs, helmets, canvas, and scale model accessories can be tricky when you need fast coverage without hiding sculpted detail. Vallejo US Khaki Spray Primer 400ml 28.009 gives modelers a practical matte foundation that works as both a primer and base color for historical miniatures, wargaming armies, terrain pieces, and scale model projects.

This product is listed at SprayGunner with SKU 28009, official Vallejo reference 28.009, and EAN 8429551280099, making it easier to identify when searching by product code, barcode, or exact item number.

US Khaki is especially useful for WWII US infantry, paratroopers, field equipment, canvas gear, packs, straps, helmets, tents, crates, tarps, and general military modeling. The color gives you a warm khaki base that can be pushed lighter with sand tones, deeper with brown washes, or cleaner with brush-painted highlights from matching Vallejo acrylic ranges.

Why Choose Vallejo US Khaki Spray Primer 400ml?

• Fast army base coating: Ideal when you need a consistent khaki foundation across multiple infantry figures or military accessories.
• Primer and base color in one: Helps reduce extra steps when the base tone is already part of the final scheme.
• Matte, self-leveling finish: Designed to preserve fine model detail while creating a smooth surface for later painting stages.
• Useful military khaki tone: Works well for uniforms, straps, packs, field gear, canvas, crates, and terrain accessories.
• Compatible model surfaces: Developed for metal, plastic, and resin models and miniatures.
• Dual-diffuser format: Includes two interchangeable spray caps for different coverage needs.

Advanced Dual-Diffuser Spray System

Vallejo Hobby Paint sprays include two interchangeable diffusers: a precision low-flow diffuser for smaller or more controlled coverage areas, and a medium diffuser for broader surfaces such as vehicles, terrain pieces, bases, artillery parts, and larger model sections.

Beyond the Label

Vallejo US Khaki Spray Primer 400ml is not only useful as a direct WWII infantry color. It can also work as a warm neutral foundation for desert equipment, faded canvas, worn military crates, tarps, supply bags, terrain accessories, and dust-toned diorama elements. For miniature painters, it is a smart shortcut when painting larger groups because the base tone already supports many military color schemes.

For scale model projects, US Khaki can help create sun-faded military surfaces. Pair it with lighter sand or pale khaki highlights for raised areas, then use controlled brown or olive washes to bring out folds, straps, gear edges, and fabric texture without making the model look too dark or glossy.
